We have been extremely excited here at the Clothes Club, lots of companies have kindly donated towards the raffle, leaving us with a veritable treasure chest of goods (worth over £800!).
On the Jewellery front, local company Haus of Artisans have donated some unique handcrafted pieces from their artisan Jairo.
We’ve also got some great vouchers. For the hungry among you there is a £50 voucher from Deliverance food delivery and £25 from the amazing Streetfeast food market.
For those of you that like a treat we have 2 beauty treatments worth £70 from Candy Box as well as 2 Move your frame gym classes worth £18 each.
But our pièce de résistance is a B E A U T I F U L bicycle donated by Tokyobike, worth £500 (pictured above). It has been decorated as a one off by artist Alex Daw and looks like an absolute dream.
Tickets are only £4 for 1 and £10 for 3 and can be bought here http://billetto.co.uk/theclothesclubraffle. You do not have to attend to buy raffle tickets although some will be available to buy on the night for attendees that didn’t buy online.
All money raised will go towards the social enterprise Bootstrap, who run pioneering programmes and workshops for disadvantaged kids in Hackney. The particular project we are funding will be with muralist Nazir Tanbouli, you will be able to see a glimpse of their hard work on the stairwell as you come up to the Dalston Roof Park on the night of the Clothes Club. The mentees will learn different skills for their personal development, which will inspire them and boost their employability by ‘learning through doing’ in the work place.
A special thanks to everyone who has contributed to the raffle. See you all for clothes and cocktails on September 4th! Those of you that haven’t bought tickets to the event can find them here.
